Hello,

I'm James, but most people know me as Jimmy. I am a voice over artist based in Surrey, UK.

​

I began my voice acting journey with Peter Warnock (The Voice Zone and The Acting Habit) in 2020, taking part in the following courses:

 

• Get Your Games Voice On, Video Games

• The Beginners Voice Over, Commercial

• The Next Level Voice Over, Commercial

• The Advanced Voice Over, Commercial

• Acting American: Approaching American Accents.

It was here I was able to establish my particular love of building character voices and accent work, as well as my ability to take direction and immediately apply it to the project at hand.

​

With over 15 years of experience in the music industry as a drummer and backing vocalist, I am currently the drummer in a Heavy Metal band called Swearwolves, as well as a cover band.

​

In September of 2022, I took part in Firearms Training for Film and TV, the reel for which can be seen below.

​

I have also worked as a Supporting Artist, working on productions such as Bohemian Rhapsody, Pirates and The Witcher (S2E4, S2E5 and S3E5).

​

In 2024, I completed my first audiobook - Oliver's Ocean Odyssey. Written by J.N Love, it's a body swap adventure short story about a young boy who torments the aquatic life in his parents pond. You can find a sample of it above in the 'Audiobook' section, and also on Audible via the link here.

As a complete video game and cartoon nerd, it is my goal to provide the voice (and motion capture) to a main character in a AAA RPG Video Game.
